Take the ‘Are You a Sexist or Homophobic?’ Test Here

The following feminist riddle from the early 1970s reflects the advances our society has made in the past 40 years. It has been modified here to reflect the shortcomings that still remain by testing whether you are a sexists, or homophobic.

A father and son are driving in a car when they get into a horrible car crash. The father succumbs to his injuries at the scene of the accident, while the son is transported to the hospital to undergo emergency surgery to save his life. However, the surgeon walks into the operating room and says, “I can’t operate on this boy, he’s my son.”

Now, who is the surgeon?

Back in the early 1970s the answer was…

A) A Catholic Priest.
B) The Biological or Stepfather.
C) Foster Father.
D) His Mother.
E) None of the Above.

Back then the answer was D) His Mother.

Today, in the year 2012, the answer is…

A) A Catholic Priest.
B) The Biological or Stepfather.
C) Foster Father.
D) His Mother or Other (same sex marriage) Dad.
E) None of the Above.

The Answer is E) None of the Above -- The surgeon lied because the kid had no health insurance.
